The ESBA PENDUKENI foundation was established in 2016 by Mrs. Esser Pawa Shilimela who strongly believes that when you invest in people, you are investing in the future. It’s on this premise that she established the foundation as an extension of her service to her community and country at large.
Mrs. Shilimela has a strong passion for philanthropy and has through previous years lend her hand to various charities and social upliftment projects in her community. Her childhood dreams and emulations of women like Oprah Winfrey, Celine Dion and Michelle Obama throughout her formative years, have fuelled and propelled her to realize the purpose of her life in service.
ESBA is a foundation aimed at uplifting and inspiring Namibian people from the less fortunate parts of our society and to equip them with the necessary tools to help manifest their aspirations into reality.
Most importantly to note, is that the foundation strives to raise future leaders who are able to navigate a variety of social and cultural contexts, and who will remain committed to the development of their communities and Namibia as a whole.
